If the word brevity, which comes from the Latin word breuitas –a translation of the Greek word brakhulogia– has experienced a positive development, for its part, the word brachylogy has joined the tropes with a pejorative meaning. Re-inventing brachylogy between dialectics and rhetoric means to define it as the real poetical form-meaning of brachylogic writing.
