In a context of renewed technological challenges in African agriculture, organic farming represents a potential option for transition. This study analyses the conditions of its development in Cameroon. It mobilizes the multi-level model of the theory of socio-technical transitions. It is documented by surveys carried out between 2016 and 2018. The results underline the central role of institutions in activating pathways of organic farming.
