The task of translation is to transform the theory of language in its entirety

The author shows the relationship between language, literature, art, ethics and politics. He condemns the linguistic theory of the sign, the separation of the signifier and the signified reducing translation to a transfer of messages between languages and creating the illusion of untranslatability. However, language is a continuum of rhythm within the organization of movement in speech. Any translation is based on a theory of language: the case of the pan-rhythmic nature of biblical texts is a prime example.
