This study approaches the theater of Derek Walcott and Aimé Césaire through the prism of relation (Édouard Glissant’s theory)—while also drawing upon Hegelian dialectics and the dramatic theory of Bertolt Brecht in order to provide new perspectives on the aesthetics of these authors.
