This article examines the technocritical portrayal of radio in the works of Georges Bernanos and Baudouin de Bodinat. It begins by considering radio, within both authors’ works, as a phenomenon enabling us to understand the birth and evolution of technological “enframing” and mass culture. It then considers radio at work, studying the influence of this very technology/studying its influence on their writing.
