The literary texts of contemporary authors from the Comoros and Mayotte illustrate the Glissantian pensée archipélique. In this fraction of the world, the cultures and traditions are often in conflict with the French colonial presence, and symbolise the construction of a new territory, where transnationalism and transculturalism have an extended rhizomatic development.
