Starting from a selection of French and Arabic dictionaries, we examine the treatment of oblique relations indicated essentially by lexicographic markers and by cited examples which show an innovative language production. These indices of oblique relations function as indicators of a privileged place of creative freedom, whether this creation is lexicalized or potential.
