Hell and devil are continually present in our society as symbols of evil. The supernatural of terror is an underlying presence even during a time mainly characterized by an individual quest for happiness. To what extent are devil and hell necessary? Our society explains this situation going back to our deepest ego. The presence of devil across three dictionaries – Collin de Plancy, R. Villeneuve, A. Rey – is a huge resource in this direction. Devil is not dead and he will never die, since evil is inside us.
