Rennes, the land of theater The interplay between amateur and professional practice

From the patronage theater, to the creation of l’ADEC, through the Centre Dramatique de l’Ouest, the founding of the Maison de la Culture, today the TNB, the history of amateur theater and of professional theater are intimately linked in Rennes. We will try here to analyze how these two forms of theater practice have been able to enrich each other. We will endeavor to bring out projects and effective creations between amateurs and professionals through a panorama of around 60 years.
