  • Abstract: This article draws on The Natural Contract by Michel Serres and proposes a reflection on the semantics of temps (time and weather) and the translations applied to ecology as a scientific study of the habitat. This interdisciplinary research aims at showing how the application of an ecological model for translation – the translation of the ecosphere – can lead to a standardization of the translation model. Such a balance follows an interactive systemic structure. It makes it possible to see how applied (dynamic and functional) studies in ecotranslation are viable, both at the level of words and cultural eras.
