This study focuses on the problem of negation in the Poésies, both in its syntactic form and in its logical and philosophical consequences. Building on a reflection on the genre of the maxim and on the reversals used by Ducasse, the internal contradictions of the work are examined as complex dialectical processes that aim to overcome the aporia of Romanticism.
