With Ducasse’s work, the literary status of reading as a continuous creation is established. But in the case of the pseudonym Lautréamont, equivocation (and the typo) seem to influence the intertextuality. But what if a reader-writer used them as another game in his/her literary strategy? This article proposes a new possible interpretation of Lautréamont’s name.
