La guerre navale (enfin) intégrée dans la stratégie – le cas de l’Arthuriad de Frederick Lees

  • Abstract: A persistent trend in Arthurian literature of the past two generations has been the grounding of the Arthurian mythos in the historical context of the fifth-sixth century. This entails the relocation of Arthur’s realm within the turbulent war-torn world. The sea is also instrumental in Arthur's demise when it wrecks Arthur’s ships off the coast of Armorica, giving Mordred the opportunity to spread the rumor of his death and seize power.
