Les Soleils des Indépendances is a major literary work which bears witness to a determined commitment to denounce the African world’s setbacks in the post-colonial period. Indeed it does so through a new approach to writing. As a result, the issue of political commitment must be approached from a contextual, cultural and ideological point of view as well as scriptural because the Ivorian writer has defined authentic fictional poetics which convey political commitment.
