Une nuit blanche, by Nerval, Méry and Paul Bocage (February 1850), has disappeared. The presence in the collection of the music department of the Bibliothèque nationale de France of a score entitled Une nuit blanche, unfortunately devoid of text, prompts a resumption of the investigation around a work victim of censorship under the Republican regime. It helped precipitate the dismissal of the director of the Odéon who had sparked it: the actor Bocage.
