The Painter without Paintbrushes Marks, Shapes, Colours in Gianni Rodari’s Poems

Our paper stands as an extra-textual and contextual interpretation of the intellectual or simply emotional relationship that Gianni Rodari's writings maintain with art. By reading the pictorial or figurative parts of Rodari's poems, our study aims to show how the author manages to transpose the classic concept of ut pictura poesis, which, since Antiquity, means “imitation of the real world”, into the process of the "construction" of fantasy worlds.
