The poetics of communion, or Mikaël Hautchamp’s poetic ritual

This article studies the poetic work of Mikaël Hautchamp, with a particular focus on his three collections published to date, an evolving body of work that makes the real unlimited and explores the mystery of life, the source of original life, and the birth/“genesis” of speech—in other words, of poetry. Hautchamp explores themes from death to light and from light to rebirth, seeing the natural elements as being in perfect, harmonious communication with each other.
