The language of Leslie Kaplan interrogates her origins and personal trajectories. L’Excès-l’usine reads like a dip in raw language, seized straightaway by the prisms of fiction. It is perhaps the cinematographic dimension of the work which builds bridges between her different cultural ties, but always by working on the sentence as the primary material of the writer.
