Based on a corpus of 40 translations of “L’Infini” (Leopardi), 41 of “La Loreley” (Heine) and 17 of “Bright star” (Keats), from the 19th to the 21st centuries, the book proposes the foundations of a stylistic method for studying ethos and style in poetry translators, supported by statistics.
