The article analyses the quotations of the names of the protagonists of the tale of Floire and Blancheflor, in texts belonging to different genres and composed in the 13th century, in oc and oïl. After the two surviving French versions from the 12th century, these quotations maintain the memory of the lovers and bear witness to its success. By retaining or discarding elements of the story, the allusions or quotations reflect different uses of the legend.
