This paper gives a reading of Les Amours jaunes with respect to the poet’s relationship with himself and with poetic tradition. We underline the elasticity and complexity of the relationship, which we should diferenciate from other contemporary artistic gestures. Regarding to poetic forms, genres, figures and themes, something of the past « stays », and may even be reinvigorated, in Les Amours jaunes, precisely thourgh the writing of a critical poetry.
