The last section of Les Amours jaunes, “Rondels pour après”, is a lullaby and a requiem for poets. These rondels, tombs lined with celtic crosses are coloured above all with hope for the future. This cross with its wheel is a symbol of renaissance. At the end of the collection, after the death of the poet and of poets, Corbière sings of a return of verse in a period otherwise marked by a crisis in verse. This is why he is the poet of repetition and circularity.
