Ethical and stylistic issues of mineral anthropomorphism

Anthropomorphism is not anthropocentrism: this is the hypothesis that this article tries to explore, by focusing on the literary treatment of telluric life. By studying the ethical issues of mineral anthropomorphism, particularly in Congolese and Caribbean literary works, it appears that rocky elements can be considered as living beings but also as witnesses of crossed dominations over humans and non-humans.
