Although Les Mémoires d’un veuf is characterized in its entirety by an apparent discontinuity, or even incoherence, it reveals a certain unity of perspective once the reader changes their angle of approach. The article explores this coherence through anamorphosis, by examining, through this optical device, the change in enunciative and representational relations, as well as the effects of the formal distortions that characterize this collection.
