Through the prism of the carceral imaginary, this text attempts to approach Verlaine from the starting point of the collection Cellulairement in its virtual existence, which nevertheless resonates even in the late prose of Mes prisons and Mes hôpitaux. Cellulairement is tidily unified. From this observation, the article tries to explain its dispersion.
