Given the many factors that have led to a reduction in current research into seventeenth-century monographic approaches, how are we to understand the recent (and near-simultaneous) publication of an infographic atlas and two dictionaries concerning Molière? This article shows that new ways of exploring a life and an oeuvre, looked at through their reticular determinations, mark a critical decentering that resonates with global historical perspectives.
