La Bourdonnaye provided an original interpretation of the ninth text from “La Nuit et ses prestiges” by transforming it into an artist’s book crafted entirely by his own hand. He thus invites a rereading of the text. A dream narrative, “Ondine” is a literary trompe-l’oeil that echoes the scholarly debates of the time on dreams and sleep.
