Glenn Albrecht’s neologisms in the face of ecological change: between lexical creativity and emotional upheaval

This paper analyses the neologisms created by Glenn Albrecht in his latest book, Earth Emotions. New words for a new world, and the function they play in the discourse of ecopsychology. We emphasize the need to study the emerging neologisms in this field and shows how lexical innovation allows the reader to grasp a new way of conceiving and expressing the emotions associated with the ecological catastrophe.
