By studying the French-speaking writer from sub-Saharan Africa, Sony Labou Tansi’novels, we discover a prospective rereading that leads to the apocalypse of the Anthropocene crisis conceptualized today, but also to the end of messianism, political or otherwise. It’s also the return to Mother Nature through his female character that the writer, however, offers an exit from this announced apocalypse of modernity.
