The eight poems of the Nouvelles Poésies (1563-1564) which sing Isabeau de Limeuil have, for the most part, been moved to other collections. Whether they are composed for others or not is less important than the possibility of writing, in different styles and different forms. Repeating, varying and eroticizing Petrarch, the poet deifies Isabeau and again uses the motifs making her a femme fatale who transforms the lover. In Isabeau we find the archetype of the Woman according to Ronsard.
