This article presents a remarkable discovery: an Alphabetum græcum, published in Lyon in 1533 and with few copies extant today, which contains in fine, under the mark of Sébastien Gryphe, the Greek motto "Good Fortune." This little manual, inspired particularly by Erasmus's educational work, is a compilation of earlier publications, and confirms (if such confirmation is still needed) Rabelais' taste and concern for the "Ionic tongue."
