This contribution provides an exhaustive account of terms, expressions and indeed entire sentences in Occitan that feature in the texts of this author. This sense of belonging to two cultures confers an undeniable authenticity and truthfulness on the writing of an exceptional woman who did not envisage herself as a writer.
