The poetic masks of identity, writing and reception orient Koffi Kwahulé’s work. This chapter analyses a constantly changing identity. It imbues the writing with a fruitful instability and major dramatic categories are fragmented and incomplete (plot, dialogue, space-time, performance, and characters). This leads to a change in the mode of reception of this theater.
