Are there existentialist modes of technology? A rereading of the Critique de la raison dialectique

In his Critique de la raison dialectique, Sartre considers the political nature of technology, associating it with an economic framework. His tools are praxis and the practico-inert, which are a means of denaturalizing the use of the artifact and of reinscribing technology in history. This involves a long historical view and the socialization of transformations in the technological order. It is not unreasonable to put these foundations of Sartre’s work into dialogue with the sociology of technologies.
