The earth is round but the world is a platform Paradox of the Capitalocene

The digitalization of the world is part of the long process of relocation of nuisances and invisibility of places of power begun in the thermo-industrial era. The phenomena of ubization show that the Taylorian-Fordian models adapt well to the new digital infrastructures. This article questions this convergence from the perspective of the political economy of industrial capitalism on the one hand, and the social imaginary of an above-ground world on the other.
