Business & Society (15 Numbers)

Periodicity: Biannual
The journal Business & Society is the successor to the K (gouvernance), KF (Enterprise et Finance) and, to some extent, the W (Dynamique technologique et organisation) series from the journal Économie et société, founded in 1944 by François Perroux. It is a French academic journal recognized by the academic authorities (FNEGE [The French Foundation for Management Education], HCRES [The Office for Research and Higher Education Assessment], and CNRS [The National Center for Scientific Research]) to study the relationships between companies, finance and society. It favors original approaches, both in terms of the topics addressed and the methodologies used. Although it does not call into question the most traditional approaches to management science, it places special emphasis on publications and articles on specific topics or on diversified methodologies. In this regard, it is particularly open to pluridisciplinary approaches. This journal is also particularly receptive to topics involving history and ethics. It seeks above all to take a step back from the technical aspects of the various disciplines of management sciences and to focus, for each of these disciplines, on the researcher's perspective on the changes (affecting society and human relationships) that may arise from the emergence of managerial innovation. In this context, the journal pays particular attention to developments in financial technology and financial markets and their economic and social influence.
The journal Entreprise & Société publishes two issues a year in French.
The editorial direction of the journal is as follows:
- True interdisciplinarity: in its relationship with society, the study of business mainly revolves around economics, law, and management; it also engages sociology and social psychology, historical and spatial analysis, even anthropology.
- A commitment to diversity: Entreprise & Société aims to be open-minded in its use of scientific methods as well as respectful of pluralism.
- Conscientious science: there will be an emphasis on philosophical approaches(both moral and epistemological in nature) and on approaches with a historical dimension.
- In French and open to international dialogue, through partnership agreements with journals in other languages, particular English-language ones.
Articles submitted to the journal are subject to a double-blind evaluation process before publication. (See below.)
Entreprise & Société has established an evaluation process which aims rigorous and proactive:
1. The proposed texts will be reviewed by the editorial team that will designate, for each item or folder, a corresponding reference set to be the interlocutor/author(s).
2. If the proposals are judged compliance with policy editorial journal, they will be subject to a standard procedure called assessment “double blind”.
3. Before publication, seminar pre-publication is offered to authors whose articles have been selected. After this seminar, the authors can still modify their proposals.
Throughout the evaluation process, authors agree not to submit the article to another journal.

Declaration on ethics and good editorial practices
The review only publishes original and unpublished contributions.
It refuses to publish articles or parts of articles that have already appeared in other publication formats and it asks authors to guarantee that their article will not be submitted to any other review until such time as a decision to refuse publication be communicated to them.
Authors must guarantee that their contribution does not infringe copyrights and cannot be considered plagiarism, even in part. Discovery of proven plagiarism after publication will result in removal of the digital version of the article. Authors must give appropriate citations for the materials used. The author serving as correspondent is responsible for the list of contributors and for their agreement to the version submitted to the review. Authors must declare any and all conflicts of interest and identify the sources of financing received for the research, if applicable.
Each article submitted to the review is evaluated according to a double-blind process.
In cases of major error in a published article identified by an author or by a reader who brings it to the attention of the editorial committee, the author or authors agree to rectify the error or to respond with a refutation of the accusation of error. In cases of rectification by the author, the review and Éditions Classiques Garnier agree to publish the corrected version of the article online. Contact Information

Note to Contributors
Proposals for articles should be sent in Word format by e-mail to the above address.
Any proposed contribution must be original (not already published in another French or foreign journal and not simultaneously submitted to one or more other journals) and presented in French.
The length of submissions should fall within the following ranges:
5,000 to 7,000 words maximum for a scientific article
2,000 to 3,000 words maximum for a professional or institutional article
1,500 to 2,000 words maximum for a review or symposium report
Evaluation Process
Submitted texts will be examined by the journal’s editorial board. If they are judged to be consistent with the editorial policy of the journal, they are then subjected to a classic “double-blind” evaluation procedure by two independent judges without any connection to the author(s). Throughout the process, a reference correspondent is appointed for each article or dossier (consisting of two or three articles). After a potential series of edits done by the author in consultation with the board, the editorial committee alone will have the last word as to whether it will publish the article. Throughout the evaluation process, the authors commit to not submitting the paper to another journal.
Before publication, a prepublication seminar is offered to authors whose articles have been selected. During or after this seminar, authors can still modify what they submitted in their initial proposal.
