Moving beyond Discipline to Make Employees Actors in Management A Reflection

This reflection formalizes the dual agency relationship between managers and employees. A synthesis of the social governance mechanisms at work in this relationship reveals a predominance of the disciplinary logic of governance. Through the example of the expert assisting works councils, we illustrate how taking into account the cognitive logic of governance can allow employees to be better involved in the management of companies.
