Ronsard and Désiré facing the Protestants (1560–1562) A parallax effect

This article analyzes the positions respectively taken by Pierre de Ronsard and Artus Désiré within the anti-Protestant polemics of 1560-1562. By examining the reaction (or lack of reaction) of the Protestants to these two adversaries from two different worlds, it is the way in which the poetic field was structured in times of crisis that we intend to bring to light.
