Dictionary skills among learners of French as L2: an experimental study in a university context Une étude expérimentale en contexte universitaire

The use of lexicographical resources remains limited in the didactics of French as a foreign language, because of the absence of dictionary skills among teachers and learners. In this study, we intend to explore the status of these skills among learners of L2 French, through a survey conducted at an academic level. Based on the results, we set up specific training aimed at an effective use of the multiple facets of the dictionary.
