During the French Religion Wars, Pierre and Jérôme Haultin have printed many psalm-books, several collections of polyphonic songs, and one major original work : Claude Le Jeune’s Dodecacorde. Based on a bibliographical analysis of this protestant musical corpus, this paper aims to understand how different stakeholders take part in the production of this printed music published in La Rochelle, and how economical and editorial choices may influence the design of these books.
