On October 15, 2018, Yasuo Irisawa, a great figure of Japanese poetry and an incomparable Nervalian researcher, died. In Irisawa, are inseparable the work of the critic based on a constant concern for philological rigor and the work of the poet, proposing audacious formal experiments and showing a propensity for dream, which brings him closer to Nerval. This article is a tribute to this poet linked to Nerval by a deep vibration.
