In this study, we propose to highlight the importance of the morpheme “and” in Giovanni Dotoli's poems. We will try to show that the “and”, which punctuates and marks the discourse in a strong way, plays an essential role not only at a level of cohesion but also as a representation that characterises the poet who leans towards the Other.
