Observed carefully, Attilio Bertolucci’s poetry reveals a wide openness to emotions, themes, intuitions, figures of a Christian matrix. Imbued with an acute perception of the sacredness and mystery of the world, marked by a strong need to ideally dialogue with the humblest beings and to discover beauty among the simplest things, this poetry tends, albeit in a way very personal and outside any dogmatic logic, to a "true light" which has its supreme source in the evangelical announcement.
