This contribution offers an outline of Twentieth-Century Apulian poets mainly focusing on their capacity to get rid of the dominating models. Moving away from the influence of the main cultural centres and going beyond any form of marginalization, this tradition achieves its fully-fledged position in both the national and the international literary framework.
