Looking back at “Ici, maintenant”

In October 1973, the journal Littérature published “Ici, maintenant, les Illuminations,” a Freudo-Marxist journey through Rimbaud’s prose poems. We look back to see what is still relevant in this publication, focusing on the great sociological and political questions that it proposed to tackle, without seeking to identify any kind of illusory profession of Rimbaldian ideological faith.
