The Origins of Christianity: Event, Memory and Faith II. The Christian Identity in the Lukan Work and in John’s Gospel

Following the first part of a study which uncovered three dimensions at work in the construction of identity in Pauline Christianity – event, memory and faith – (RHPR 100, 2020, p. 335-362), this second part extends the exploration to Luke and John, in order to verify their presence elsewhere in the origins of the Church. Finally, at the end of the investigation, the article unfolds the consequences for the study of the New Testament understood as a scientific discipline.
