Proust’s faith - Steeped in Catholicism but prone to slip-ups?

Did being baptized and brought up a Catholic have an impact on Proust’s later creativity? A study of the practices and liturgy of the time shows that his memories, reflected in his novelistic cycle, are very precise, but also allows us to examine some naive blunders, notably concerning the status of Jews in the Catholic Church.
