A whole series of readers of Proust, by writing about and drawing on their reading impressions, pay constant attention to this timeless “classic”—a genuine “Proustomania” mixing mad love and contempt. This highlights the fact that, a hundred years later, the author and his work enter into a relationship with the world marked by “responsiveness”.
