La Langue de la fiction dans la nouvelle historique et galante (1650-1700)

This work looks at the question of the nature of fiction from a dual perspective, historical and linguistic. Based on the corpus of historical and gallant novellas, reputed for their generic hybridity between novel and history, it shows that fiction invents its own means of representation.
