The advent of web 2.0 has led to the appearance of lexicographic collections that bring together metalinguistic knowledge of non-professional lexicographers. In this paper, a metalexicographic analysis of dictionaries which allow Internet users to register or invent neologisms, will be provided. Both text and paratext will be analysed, in order to identify the innovative elements, which could facilitate the production of neologisms, as well as the functions of such neologisms.
